Job Description
Responsibilities: Reporting to the Dean of Social Sciences and Human Services, the Staff Assistant will perform multiple office tasks to support the administrative functions of the Division. Typical duties will include but are not limited to: perform receptionist duties; produce documents, etc. for faculty and staff using administrative and office production software; interact with students as well as multiple offices throughout campus, assist with scheduling and other projects as needed. The incumbent must be flexible in work hours which vary by semester. Daytime and/or evening hours may be required.
Qualifications
Required Qualifications: High school graduate or equivalent learning experience, working knowledge of standard office equipment including computer software such as Microsoft Office and Excel related to the function of the division; ability to work in a team environment; and perform tasks within established guidelines with minimal to no direct supervision.
Preferred Qualifications: Associate degree; familiarity with CCP and PeopleSoft as used in the academic and financial components of the division.
