Job Overview:

We are seeking a talented Associate Engineer to join our team and focus on building robust AI infrastructure. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Develop and maintain AI infrastructure, including building pipelines with AWS.
- Implement and manage security controls to protect AI systems and data.
- Build orchestration layers in Python to support AI workflows.
- Address and mitigate AI hallucinations and validate AI outputs.
- Handle throttling issues and optimize the use of various AWS components.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of AI solutions.
- Ability to work effectively with an established AI research team and utilize the tools provided.
- Stay updated with the latest advancements in AI infrastructure and technologies.
You'll need to have:
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science, Engineering, Physics, Math, or related work experience.
- Highly experienced candidate with a minimum of 2 years of expertise in application design, coding, testing, maintenance, and debugging.
- Proven experience with AWS and cloud infrastructure.
- Proficiency in Python for building orchestration layers.
- Experience with AI validation and addressing AI hallucinations.
- Strong understanding of security controls and best practices for AI systems.
- Skilled in developing Python APIs and writing code for loading and processing data.
- Experience with Git/GitHub.
- Experience with DevOps tools like Jira, Confluence, and CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins).
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
Skills:
- Strong analytical skills.
- Candidate must be willing to take full ownership of projects, covering discovery, analysis, technical design and implementation, testing, and deployment tasks.
- Must demonstrate good communication skills and be comfortable working closely with quantitative analysts, risk analysts and business partners.
- A strong desire to document and share work done to aid in long term support.
- Candidate must be a self-starter, a dependable partner, and team player.

Compensation Information: Annual base salary for this role is $120,000 - $150,000. Salary is estimated for this role. Actual pay may be different.
Discretionary Bonus: Role may be eligible to receive an annual discretionary bonus. Discretionary bonuses are determined by several factors including, but not limited to, firm, team, and individual performance.
