Job Overview:

The Senior Compliance Associate, Business Analyst will be responsible for working closely with Technology/Data Owners to provide solutions to support the organization’s ability to adhere to legal, regulatory, and internal policies and standards. This position requires a self-starter with the ability to work independently with various stakeholders to execute deliverables. 

We’ll trust you to:

• Partner with Global Compliance colleagues to understand data needs and collaborate with Technology/Data owners to develop and implement solutions
• Serve as data SME by developing a comprehensive understanding of the firm’s inventory of data and data sources, and applying knowledge to enhance the Global Compliance program
• Develop and deliver data analytics and reporting/metrics capabilities for use by Global Compliance and firm management
• Lead the review, redesign and implementation of monitoring and surveillance activities 
• Responsible for project management of key deliverables to closure
• Provide regular, timely, clear and concise updates to management and stakeholders
• Develop and maintain effective partnerships with investment, client services, risk, and technology teams as well as third party service providers, as applicable
• Stay current on the regulations, including SEC risk alerts, examination priorities, policies, and best practices relevant to Lord Abbett’s business,
• Work on ad-hoc projects, including data migration to Compliance technology platforms and business continuity planning

You'll need to have:

• At least eight years of experience, or equivalent, as a consultant, project manager or business analyst in the financial services industry or IT, working closely with compliance, risk management, audit, or regulatory functions
• A Bachelor’s degree or equivalent
• Experience with data analytics and reporting tools/software, some experience with advanced technologies (e.g., AI)
• Strong project management, analytical, problem solving, and written and verbal communications skills
• Ability to work in a dynamic, collaborative, and high-performing team
• A strong sense of ownership/accountability
• The ability to be a team player with strong interpersonal skills
• A proactive approach to work assignments

Compensation Information: Annual base salary for this role is $125,000-$145,000. Salary is estimated for this role. Actual pay may be different.

Discretionary Bonus: Role may be eligible to receive an annual discretionary bonus. Discretionary bonuses are determined by several factors including, but not limited to, firm, team, and individual performance.
