Ministry Coordinator (Clifton)
Reports To: Senior Pastor
Status: Part Time (10-15 hours per week)
FLSA: Exempt
Job Summary
This position will assist in the development of Lord of Life’s ministry site currently at Liberty Middle School in Clifton. This individual will work closely with staff, volunteers and ministry teams to ensure that the Clifton ministry operates smoothly. This position is intended to fill the need for a recognizable “face” at Clifton for the foreseeable future during a time of pastoral transitions.
Educational and Experiential Requirements:
1. A minimum of a bachelor’s degree.
2. A minimum of 5 years of congregational involvement as a member, volunteer and/or staff.

Essential Functions:
1. Welcome guests and members to Sunday worship and activities and trouble shoot any minor issues.
2. Develop and facilitate the development of relationships in the Clifton and Centreville communities.
a. Collaborate with the Business Operations Director, Office Manager, and Evoke to publicize Lord of Life in the Clifton and Centreville communities
b. Collaborate with the Director of Congregational Care to equip (train) members of the Clifton worshipping community with skills for reaching out, inviting and welcoming visitors and members, and engaging them in the life of the church.
3. Serve as a liaison between the Clifton worshipping community and other Lord of Life staff for programs such as evangelism, marketing, hospitality, discipleship, youth, children, worship, community outreach, and congregational care..
a. Be present on Sunday mornings at Liberty Middle School for an average of 3-4 hours per week.
b. Be present on Tuesday mornings for the Lord of Life staff meetings for an average of 2-3 hours per week.
c. Attend meetings of the Clifton Steering Committee to support worship and programs offered through the Liberty ministry site.
d. Serve as a link for communication, finances and logistics.
4. Other duties as assigned by the Senior Pastor.
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: From $25.00 per hour
