Hours: Full Time - M-F –3:30 pm-12:00 am, Saturdays for business need

We are currently seeking a Food Safety Quality Assurance Technician to join our team.
Job Summary:
Provides essential contributions to monitor and advance the company’s safety and quality programs.
Essential Functions:

· Pre-operational inspections and documentation
· GMP monitoring
· Fat testing
· N60 Plus sampling
· Thermometer calibrations
· Temperature checks
· Environmental testing
· Sanitation checks/mid-shift inspection
· Carcass swabs
· Observational record keeping
· Production Quality reports
· Other sample preparations and SARFs
JOB QUALIFICATIONS/REQUIREMENTS:

Education and Experience:
· No formal education or experience is required
· Previous experience in Quality Assurance is preferred
Language Skills:
· Fluency in English (verbal and written)
· Bilingual skills (English and Spanish or Karen) is preferred
Physical Demands:

The employee must frequently stand, walk, lift and/or move up to 25 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 60 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.
Work Environment:
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently exposed to 40 degree temperature, fumes or airborne particles, moving mechanical parts and vibration. The noise level in the work environment can be loud.
