Position Overview
Under general direction, Clinical Managers (CM) plan, develop, manage, and oversee the administration of behavioral health clinic operations and services, managing a team of clinicians. In conjunction with subordinate professional-level and administrative-level staff, the CM maintains and enforces acceptable professional and ethical standards of the program's clinical staff according to the Leadership Team's clinical vision. The CM also serves in a consultative role to staff mental health professionals and mental health practitioners. They participate in strategic planning and committee activities as assigned. CMs also monitor program activity and manage for clinical effectiveness and productivity.
Clinical Managers assists the Director of Psychological Services in ensuring the facility meets all related local, state, federal and accrediting-body rules and regulations. Clinical Manager assists the Director of Psychological Services in coordinating and managing patient care in the facility according to adopted policies / procedures, state and federal regulations, and accepted accreditation standards. Clinical Managers also serve as liaison between the clinical staff and Director of Psychological Services.
Distinguishing Features
The Clinical Manager is distinguished from the lower level of staff clinicians in that the latter does not have responsibility for organizational unit performance, which includes program or people management, evaluation, reporting and statistics, or outcome monitoring. The Manager is further distinguished from the Director of Psychological Services in that the latter directs service line operations across all sites.

- A supportive manager capable of instructing, focusing, and guiding others in accomplishing performance and work goals and objectives of behavioral health clinic / program operations and services
- Someone capable of identifying and understanding how external issues (e.g., economic, political, social and health care trends) impact the work of behavioral health care services and who is able to motivate and inspire others by providing leadership and setting a sense of purpose for the Clinic and its programs

Requirements
Either :
A) the equivalent of one year of experience as a PMHNP at Lorenz Clinic with a proven track record of leadership and exceeding position requirements or
B) the equivalent of three years of post-licensure experience as a PMHNP providing clinical services, of which one year must have been in a management or supervisory capacity equivalent to that of a Clinical Manager in an outpatient psychiatry program.

Compensation
The hiring range for this position is $165,000 - $240,000 annually, depending on experience, credentials, breadth of clinical competence, caseload, and clinical program.
