Job Summary : We are seeking a skilled Distribution Engineer with 5 to 10 years of experience to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in designing, developing, and managing distribution systems for electrical power, water, natural gas, or other utilities. As a Distribution Engineer, you will be responsible for ensuring the efficiency, reliability, and compliance of our distribution networks, while optimizing performance and meeting regulatory standards.
Key Responsibilities :
- System Design : Plan and design distribution systems (electrical power lines, water pipelines, natural gas networks, telecommunications cables).
- Network Optimization : Enhance network performance by optimizing for efficiency, reliability, and cost-effectiveness.
- Project Management : Oversee distribution projects from planning to completion, ensuring they stay on schedule and within budget.
- Compliance & Regulation : Ensure systems meet safety standards and comply with industry regulations and environmental requirements.
- Technical Analysis : Perform load flow analysis, fault analysis, and voltage drop calculations to ensure system functionality.
- Upgrades & Maintenance : Identify opportunities for system upgrades and schedule routine maintenance to prevent disruptions.
- Quality Assurance : Conduct quality assurance reviews to ensure designs and implementations meet high standards.
- Documentation : Maintain comprehensive records, drawings, and documentation for all systems.
- Safety : Promote safety protocols to ensure a safe working environment and minimize risks to personnel and the public.
- Collaboration : Work closely with cross-functional teams, including engineers, field technicians, and project managers, to achieve project goals.
