The Technical Writer 2 (Communications and Documentation Specialist) will support the Power Delivery Data Analytics team by creating and managing internal communications and technical documentation for software applications and analytics dashboards. This hybrid role (in-office Tuesday-Thursday) involves composing and maintaining user guides, knowledge base articles, and technical documentation while ensuring clarity and accuracy for internal stakeholders. The specialist will also develop PowerPoint presentations, video content, and executive one-pagers to effectively communicate project updates and new software features.
A key part of the role includes gathering and synthesizing user feedback to improve content effectiveness and enhance user experience. The specialist will also draft emails, newsletters, and website content to keep teams informed of updates and changes. Candidates should have 1-3 years of experience in technical writing and communications , a strong grasp of language and grammar (APA / MLA preferred), and familiarity with data analytics, Power BI, and application development . Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (PowerPoint, SharePoint) is required, with UX / UI knowledge and video editing skills (Camtasia, Premiere Pro, After Effects) being preferred. A bachelor’s degree in Technical Communication, Computer Science, or a related field is a plus.
