New LPNs can make$32.88 / hourand experienced LPNs$33.95 / hour
Shift differentials are available forEvening andNights.
We also payo vertimeif you work over an 8-hour shift!
Responsibilities
Provides direct nursing care to residents and supervises the day-to-day activities performed by other members of the nursing team.
Coordinates nursing care delivery to ensure resident’s needs are met in accordance with professional standards of practice through physician orders, policies and procedures, and federal, state and local guidelines.
Performs tasks and responsibilities within the framework of case finding, health teaching, health counseling, and provision of supportive and restorative care under the direction of a registered professional nurse, licensed, or otherwise legally authorized physician.
Qualifications
Requires basic knowledge of clinical nursing.
Must be able to function effectively in handling residents while performing procedures and techniques required to assist physicians and professional nursing staff.
Must be a graduate of an accredited school of practical nursing and have current licensure with the New York State Board of Nursing.
