What are the responsibilities and job description for the Project/Program Manager III position at Lorien?
Travel: 50%
HM will try to keep the contractor as regional as possible.
For launches, the travel time will be onsite for a few weeks to a month around the launch date to ensure that the everything the vendors it is all being done correctly. The team is not exactly sure on how long. In the past the full-scale building launches were up to 6 weeks but since these are smaller scale projects the HM does not imagine it to be that long.
Group: This team does start up activities, which is mainly overseeing 3rd party vendors doing a lot of the finalization work toward launches of a certain type of building. The HM's peers will conduct the full-scale building launches and the HM's team is responsible for Grocery Implementation. So, after the building launches the team is responsible for coming in and implementing the grocery components and getting that operation live. As well as undertaking more, retro fit projects to already existing buildings.
The work itself, will be mainly monitoring one main vendor, for installing racking, have teams come in to do taping, hanging signs, etc to make sure it is a fit and finish product before handing it over to operations. As well as working with other vendors for smaller projects here and here.
The vendors the team works with will have one main manager that these contractors will be in communication with. For example, one vendor the team works with is Green heath who has one main manager for the project and that is who the GB would be working with and reporting if things are not going well. If things are on time and if the team has not received stuff
Projects:
Typically for these projects the team will be managing will be smaller scale since they are managing just a portion/ component of the building itself. There may be 5-7 vendors in total outside of the main vendor these contractors will be working with to get things installed.
