SUMMARY OF POSITION
We are seeking experienced and driven Laser Screed Operators to join our team in Dillsburg, PA. This individual should have a minimum of two years; relevant operating experience. Work is primarily in South Central PA and surrounding areas.
TYPICAL RESPONSIBILITIES / ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
- Safely operates and maintains laser screed and high performance lasers
- Sets and checks grade elevations
- Screeds concrete within spec and performs above standard
- Follows construction diagrams
- Performs pre-operations safety inspections
- Effectively communicates with site foreman to complete daily tasks in order to meet project goals
- Travels from job site to job site when/as needed
- Works closely with other crew members; in a fast-paced environment
- Ensures company equipment is maintained and in good running condition by greasing and checking fluids
- Performs other labor duties as assigned by foreman or project manager
- Follows all company rules, regulations, policies, guidelines, etc.
REQUIREMENTS
- Must be 18 years of age
- Possesses a valid driver’s license and reliable transportation to reach assigned job sites
- 1-2 years of relevant operating experience
- Experience and knowledge of concrete construction
- Experience with 3D and total station set up is preferred
- Must be able to work in outdoor environments, including prolonged walking or standing on various terrain in a wide range of weather conditions
- Must be self-motivated and able to work independently and meet necessary deadlines
- Experience with hand tools associated with the trade
- Ability to pass DOT pre-employment physical and drug/alcohol screening
