Responsibilities:
- Serve as the main point of contact for patients in need of treatment, with care and attention to detail and follow up and follow through
- Coordinate patient treatment plans with insurance benefits, establishing firm financial arrangements.
- Answer phone calls, handling inquiries from patients, families and other healthcare professionals.
- Schedule appointments and follow-up visits for patients
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records and account notes ensuring proper estimates and clarity of agreements for care.
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure smooth patient flow, satisfaction and efficient operations
- checking dental insurances for next few days and updating dentrix
Qualifications:
- Previous experience working in a dental office as a Dental treatment planner
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
- Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities
- Proficient in using computers, phone systems and other office equipment (Dentrix preferred)
- Ability to remain calm and composed with a smile under pressure
- Knowledge of dental terminology and procedures (clinical experience is a plus)
