This position provides support to the HIM department during the absence of a permanent director. Assists HIM techs utilization RN with questions, support, knowledge and guidance on an as needed basis.
Ensures department stays focused on their important role in the continuum of care.
Minimum education
Two years of college preferred. Associate's degree preferred. Bachelor's degree preferred.
Required Skills
Requires critical thinking skills, decisive judgment, and the ability to work with minimal supervision. Must be able to work in a stressful environment and take appropriate action.
