What You Will Do
The Program Office for the ERP Modernization initiative serves as the central hub for overseeing the successful implementation of the enterprise resource planning (ERP) transformation. The Program Office is responsible for coordinating all project activities, including planning, execution, and monitoring, ensuring alignment with business objectives. It also manages risk, budget, and timeline adherence. Simultaneously, the office drives Organizational Change Management by facilitating stakeholder engagement, communication, and training to ensure a smooth transition and adoption of new systems and processes across the organization. This position, in addition to the Program Office, will report to the Chief Information Officer.
As a Non-Technical Program Manager 4 serving as an Organizational Change Manager in the Program Office for LANL's ERP Modernization initiative, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth adoption of new systems and processes by the various business organizations. Your responsibilities will include developing and executing a comprehensive change management strategy that aligns with the program's goals. This involves assessing the organization's readiness for change, identifying key stakeholders, and crafting targeted communication plans to keep everyone informed and engaged throughout the project. Additionally, you will lead efforts to manage resistance, provide ongoing support through training and development programs, and ensure that employees are equipped to transition effectively to the new ERP system. You will also work closely with project teams to integrate change management activities into the overall project plan, fostering a culture of adaptability and ensuring that the benefits of the modernization are fully realized.

Work Location: The work location for this position is telework and is located in Los Alamos, NM. Telework is defined as working from offsite but within 2 hours ground commute of this location. Reporting onsite may be periodically necessary. All work locations are at the discretion of management and can change at any time with appropriate notice.
Position commitment: Regular appointment employees are required to serve a period of continuous service in their current position in order to be eligible to apply for posted jobs throughout the Laboratory. If an employee has not served the time required, they may only apply for Laboratory jobs with the documented approval of their Division Leader. The position commitment for this position is 1 year.

What You Need
Minimum Job Requirements:
- Change Management Strategy: Experience developing and implementing comprehensive change management strategy to support large-scale system implementation, ensuring alignment with organizational objectives.
- Stakeholder Engagement: Experience engaging with key stakeholders at all levels to foster a culture of change readiness and to address concerns proactively.
- Training and Development: Experience designing, developing, and/or delivering training programs and materials to prepare employees for new systems, ensuring effective knowledge transfer and skill development.
- Resistance Management: Experience identifying potential resistance and developing strategies to mitigate risks and ensuring smooth adoption of new processes and technologies.
- Performance Monitoring: Experience establishing and tracking key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the success of change management initiatives and make data-driven adjustments as necessary.
Desired Qualifications:
- Deep understanding of change management principles, methodologies, and tools.
- Experience with communication planning and/or strategies.
- Experience with process optimization.
- Experience with data integrations (such as on-prem to cloud, cloud to cloud, etc.).
- Anticipate and manage risks related to the adoption of IT solutions.
- Work closely with IT project teams to embed change management practices into project plans and timelines.
