What are the responsibilities and job description for the Seasonal Intern, Events & Stadium Operations position at Los Angeles Chargers?
The Events & Stadium Operations team at the Los Angeles Chargers is responsible for overseeing team events including training camp ,non-gameday events and gamedays at SOFI Stadium. Seasonal staff will help support all team events, including training camp, events at SOFI stadium and all regular season games. The full-season internship will run from July 2024 — March 2025.
Responsibilities and Essential Requirements
Seasonal staff will assist with various department tasks including but not limited to:
· Load in and setup of all training camp assets
· Assist daily with training camp elements including player autograph sessions, vendor load in and gate giveaways
· Seasonal staff will work with a variety of internal departments
· Staff will assist with activation layouts, vendor load in/load out, credential distribution, and gate giveaways on gamedays
· The ideal candidate can use discretion and professionalism when working closely with high profile team talent.
· This staff can communicate effectively in both written and verbal form
· Proficient in Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Adobe and can navigate tech platforms with ease
· Candidates must be high-energy, positive, and work well with others
· Must be able to lift heavy items (up to 25 lbs.) and perform some manual labor
