Description
We are seeking a detail-oriented, technically skilled and inquisitive Business Intelligence (BI) & IT Support Specialist to join our team. This hybrid role will encompass 75% business intelligence and 25% IT support responsibilities. The ideal candidate will possess a blend of technical troubleshooting skills and analytical abilities, along with a strong desire to learn and adapt quickly. The role requires 1-4 years of experience, which can be a combination of education and hands-on experience. This position will play a critical role in supporting business operations by ensuring smooth IT functionality while also leveraging data to drive strategic decision-making.
Key Responsibilities:
Business Intelligence (75%)

Develop, maintain, and optimize reports, dashboards, KPIs, and data visualizations using BI tools such as Power BI, MS SQL, and data import tools.

Analyze complex data sets to identify trends, patterns, and insights that drive business decisions.

Assist in database querying and data modeling using MS SQL or other data manipulation languages.

Create and maintain data models that organize and define relationships between data sets.

Work with stakeholders to gather business requirements and translate them into technical solutions.

Continuously research and implement best practices to improve BI reporting and analytics capabilities.

Automate data collection and processing tasks (ETL) to improve efficiency and reliability.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate BI solutions into daily business processes.

Identify potential data quality issues and proactively work on data cleansing and transformation.

Support data integrity and accuracy by ensuring proper data governance and validation processes.

Monitor BI performance and optimize queries to improve system efficiency.
IT Support (25%)

Provide first-level technical support for hardware, software, and network-related issues.

Assist in setting up and troubleshooting computer systems, applications, and peripherals for end-users.

Manage user accounts, permissions, and security settings within company systems.

Work collaboratively with the IT team to resolve issues and escalate when necessary.

Document troubleshooting procedures and create user guides as needed.

Assist in basic system maintenance and upgrades.

Provide training and technical guidance to end-users on IT tools and business applications.
Qualifications
Required Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Data Analytics, Computer Science, or a related field OR equivalent combination of education and experience.

1-4 years of experience in IT support, business intelligence, or a related role.

Proficiency with BI tools such as Power BI and data import tools.

Experience with MS SQL, database management, and data visualization techniques.

Ability to analyze and interpret data to drive business insights and improvements.

Basic understanding of IT support principles, including troubleshooting hardware and software issues.

Availability & Scheduling:
This role requires occasional evening and semi-regular weekend availability to support events and special projects. Candidates should be prepared to adjust their schedules as needed to meet organizational needs, with advanced notice provided whenever possible. THIS IS NOT A REMOTE POSITION and NO RELOCATION ASSISTANCE WILL BE PROVIDED
