Academic Intervention Specialist - Remote

•California residency required •Current California Credentialing in appropriate content area •Knowledge of State Standards and Common Core Standards •Preferred at least two years’ experience teaching • High-quality written and verbal communication skills •High digital proficiency in Microsoft applications, Google Workspace, and Work OS platforms •Ability to work well under pressure •Ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks to meet deadlines consistently •Understanding of and ability to manage confidential information •Ability to pass federal and state criminal background checks •Experience working in a multi-cultural setting preferred •Ability to work with a diverse and distributed student body and peer group •Experience in coaching teachers to improve their instructional planning, instructional practice, and classroom culture •Excellent results in increasing student achievement academically and social-emotionally •A passion for teaching and genuine care for children •High level of comfort working in a growth-focused coaching environment based on frequent observations, debriefs, action planning, and progress monitoring
