Lifeguard/Swim Instructor (Summer Only)

You will need to provide proof (copies) of the following current and valid certifications or proof that you are registered in a class to obtain the required certification(s): 1. CPR/AED for Public Safety Personnel 2. First Aid for Public Safety Personnel (Title 22) 3. Lifeguard Training Certificate 4. Water Safety Instructor (30-hour course and MUST BE COMPLETED and provided to us before you are cleared to start working). **5/5/25 to 6/9/25 - NEW to PUSD Candidates will complete paperwork, physical, and fingers. TB TEST IS REQUIRED. Qualified Candidates will be notified of placement on eligibility list**

Any combination equivalent to: graduation from high school and six months related lifeguarding experience including completion of specialized training in first aid and water safety instruction and responsibility for swimming instruction.
