The Supervisor of Academic Instruction (CF) (SAI) serves under the leadership of the Central Program Services Program Director (Developmental Disabilities-Safety) and the supervision of the Supervisor of Correctional Education Programs (SCEP) to assist in the planning, development, and implementation of two federally-funded grant programs: Individuals with Disabilities Education Improvement Act of 2003 (IDEA 2004) amended through Every Student Succeeds Act of December 2015-Public Law 114-95 and the Workforce Innovation and Opportunity Act (WIOA), Title II: Adult Education and Family Literacy Act (AEFLA)-Public Law 113-128. This position is not eligible for telework, this position is in person only. Requirements / Qualifications

Submit a completed standard state application (STD. 678) and a copy of a valid standard California supervision credential, or an administration credential, or life diplomas or credentials of equivalent authorization issued under the authority of the Commission for Teacher Preparation and Licensing by the cutoff date. Minimum Qualifications: Possession of a valid standard administration or supervision credential or a credential or life diploma of equivalent authorization issued under authority of the Commission for Teacher Preparation and Licensing. (Applicants who do not possess the required credential will be admitted to the examination, but must secure the credential before they will be considered eligible for appointment.) AND Two years of administrative, supervisory, or academic teaching experience in an elementary or a secondary school system.
