ABOUT THE COURT
Los Angeles Superior Court is the largest unified trial court in the United States. Its 580 judges and commissioners work in one of the 36 facilities within the Court's 12 judicial districts and are supported by more than 4,800 full-time Court employees. ABOUT THE POSITION
Procurement Analyst performs a variety of entry- to journey-level professional procurement and contracting activities for materials, equipment, supplies and services in accordance with the Judicial Branch Contract Law, Judicial Branch Contracting Manual, Court's Local Contracting Manual, the Public Contract Code and all other applicable laws, rules, and regulations; and, provides professional assistance to Court managers and staff in meeting their procurement needs. MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
To qualify, you must meet one of the following options at the time of application :
Option I : Graduation from a four-year college or university with a major in public or business administration, finance, operations management or a closely related field - AND - one (1) year of experience in risk assessment, legislative analysis, purchasing and / or contracting for supplies, equipment, materials or services, preferably in a court or other governmental agency.
Option II : Five (5) years of experience at the level of a Superior Court of California, County of Los Angeles Procurement Technician working for Superior Court of California, County of Los Angeles
Option III : Five (5) years of experience in risk assessment, legislative analysis, purchasing and / or contracting for supplies, equipment, materials or services, preferably in a court or other governmental agency.
Option IV : Three (3) years of experience at the level of a Superior Court of California, County of Los Angeles Procurement Technician working for Superior Court of California, County of Los Angeles and Documentation verifying completion of a Certified Professional Public Buyer (CPPB) or similar certification
