Job Title: Procurement Analyst
Location: El Segundo, CA (4 Days/Week onsite form start of assignment)
Duration: 12 Months
Job Description:
- The Global Procurement Logistics team drives the procurement of goods and services needed to support global operations.
- The Ocean Rate Global Procurement Analyst will be assigned to Ocean and Drayage Global Visibility projects to ensure positive outcomes of assigned project tasks. This includes assisting in or directly managing the review of test cases, execution of test cases, entering and maintaining Ocean spot rate and annual drayage rate information in platform, and validating rate information.
Responsibilities:
- Complete training in visibility platform for Ocean and Drayage
- Work directly with team members to obtain Ocean spot quotes and after approvals, enter and validate spot rates in system in timely manner.
- Enter in annual drayage rate data for US and Canada
- Assist in resolving issues with data entry pertaining to ocean spot rates
- Working with project team to identify system issues with ocean spot rate data entry screens in visibility platform
- Manage assigned projects assigned by Ocean and Drayage category manager.
Key Qualifications and Experience needed for success:
- Bachelor’s Degree with business or supply chain management preferred, with a minimum of 1 year of procurement/supply chain experience or related field or combination of education and experience.
- Prefer Infor Nexus experience
- Excellent skills with positive, customer-focus approach in combination with the ability to work effectively in a team environment, fast-paced, and rapidly changing environment
- Strong project management skills, experience in managing multiple projects at one time
- Knowledge of supply chain fundamentals and Procure to Pay processes
- Proficient in Power Point & Excel
- Experience of working with Business Information Systems - Knowledge/experience with Oracle and Coupa systems a plus
