Title: Affiliate Development Associate
Department: Baseball Operations – Video
Status: Part-Time, Seasonal
Pay Rate: $15.00-$17.00/hour*
Reports to: Coordinator, Minor League Video
The Affiliate Development Associate will be assigned to one of our Minor League affiliated teams (AAA: Oklahoma City, OK; AA: Tulsa, OK; A : Midland, MI; A-: Rancho Cucamonga, CA; ROK: Glendale, AZ; ROK: Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic). The ideal candidate will be available to work February through October 2024.
Essential Duties/Responsibilities:
- Capture and log all Minor League games at assigned affiliate.
- Assist coaching staff with daily tasks, including scouting reports, game planning, travel, and administrative needs.
- Compile video and data related projects and collaborate with other departments for scouting, player development, and baseball strategy.
- Operate additional technology in bullpen or batting cage sessions.
- Produce roster and lineup information for daily clubhouse use.
- Perform related duties as assigned on and off field.
Basic Requirements/Qualifications:
- High school diploma, College degree preferred.
- Coursework completed by January 2024, Candidate must be available for the entire duration of the season, February-October.
- Possess excellent organizational, interpersonal and time management skills.
- Ability to work a varied schedule including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel).
Preferred Qualifications:
- High level of social awareness and the ability to exercise feel in the clubhouse environment.
- Ability to work and communicate in a team setting.
- Solid foundation of baseball knowledge and a curiosity to understand more in-depth baseball concepts.
