Position Summary
We are seeking a dedicated Junior Trainer & People Operations Representative with 1-2 years of experience to join our team. This role supports impactful employee experiences through training coordination and human resources administrative support. This is a hybrid-based position with a minimum of 2-3 days in the Van Nuys office required. It supports all facets of the day-to-day operations and/or projects within the Learning & Development and People Operations teams.
This position collaborates with team leaders and the broader associate population to support a wide range of projects and initiatives that impact our corporate and branch workforce. The focus will be on streamlining processes and providing exceptional service to all associates.
What You’ll Do
High-Level Tasks:
- Coordinate and facilitate onboarding and professional development training programs.
- Maintain and update training materials, including manuals, eLearning modules, and presentations.
- Assist with live training sessions, webinars, and recorded videos to ensure high-quality engagement.
- Provide support for employee onboarding and orientation processes.
- Assist in organizing employee engagement events and People Operations programs.
- Maintain and manage the Learning Management System and related administrative tasks.
Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications
- A minimum of 1-2 years of experience providing administrative support in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience supporting HR or Learning & Development functions, or commensurate work experience, is preferred.
Education and Certificates/Licenses
- A minimum of high school education or GED.
Required Skills/Abilities
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong interpersonal, emotional intelligence, and customer service skills.
- Highly organized with strong attention to detail.
- Proven time management skills with the ability to meet deadlines.
- Ability to function well in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
Physical Demands
This position involves primarily non-manual labor and requires reliable, predictable, on-time attendance. The role includes sitting, standing, walking, and significant computer usage. Repetitive hand movements, multitasking, analyzing data, and clear communication are essential. Occasional lifting of up to 20 lbs. may be required.
