CATERING SALES COORDINATOR
Overview
Are you passionate about creating memorable culinary experiences? Do you have a sales background and have a knack for managing high-volume catering operations? If so, our restaurant group wants YOU to join our team as a Catering Sales Coordinator!
This is a remote job (work from home), that pays $25 per hour, paid weekly and via 1099, plus a commission for business brought in by sales outreach.
Depending on the restaurant's catering needs, the hours will range anywhere from 10 to 20 hours weekly.
The Catering Sales Coordinator would be in charge of reaching out to potential customers, responding to catering inquiries, creating invoices for orders placed and following up with customers.
Duties
- Oversee catering operations
- Handle customer inquiries, feedback, and special requests
-Solicits new business opportunities via sales calls and in-person meetings, to promote sales and outside catering opportunities while building relationships with new and existing client base.
-Conducting market research to identify potential clients and initiating contact to introduce our catering services.
-Negotiates and prepares event agreements and contracts with clients for all events booked.
-Advises and makes recommendations to clients on menu selections and beverage selections
- Assist in menu planning and pricing strategies
-Ensuring that client contracts, deposits, and payments are received
Requirements
-Excellent communication skills, written and verbal
-Strong organizational skills with exceptional attention to detail
-Strong sales and client relationship management skills
- Strong background in customer service within the hotel or food service industry
- Experience in Catering Services preferred
-Availability on most weekends and holidays
- Be able to train for a few weeks in person in Hollywood/Culver City
