What are the responsibilities and job description for the Bartender - Los Cuates Coors position at Los Cuates New Mexican Restaurant?
Los Cuates on Coors is looking to hire an experienced Bartender. Applicants must be friendly, hard working, team oriented, honest, comfortable with food and liquor service. You are expected to wait tables in bar area.
Must be available to work consistently, have a positive attitude at all times and be an excellent communicator. Must have reliable transportation. Must be drugfree. Passing a background check is a condition of hire.
Must have valid NM Alcohol Certification
Responsibilities:
- Greet and interact with customers in a friendly and professional manner
- Take drink orders and serve beverages to customers
- Prepare and mix alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks according to recipes
- Operate cash register and handle cash transactions accurately
- Maintain cleanliness of the bar area and ensure supplies are stocked
- Provide excellent customer service and address any customer concerns or complaints
- Adhere to all food handling and safety regulations
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to coordinate food orders for customers
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in bartending, food service or restaurant industry preferred
- Strong knowledge of basic math for cash handling purposes
- Familiarity with operating a cash register and handling transactions
- Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment
- Knowledge of brewing techniques and different types of beverages is a plus
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to handle difficult situations with patience and professionalism
- Must be able to stand for long periods of time and lift heavy trays or kegs if required
