Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and enthusiastic Bartender to join our vibrant team. As a Bartender, you will play a crucial role in delivering exceptional guest experiences in a fast-paced environment. You will be responsible for crafting cocktails, serving beverages, and ensuring that our guests feel welcomed and valued. Your ability to engage with patrons and provide top-notch service will contribute to the overall atmosphere of our establishment.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to standard recipes and customer preferences.
- Familiar with all classic cocktail recipes
- Ensure Tropezon service standards and ethos are maintained at all times
- Implement policies and systems as required under the guidance of the management
- Attend all briefings, meetings and necessary trainings.
- Maintain a clean and organized bar area, including washing glassware and cleaning surfaces.
- Oversee that the current bar set-up for bottles and any display are accurately being executed in accordance to standards set by the bar manager.
- Engage with guests to provide excellent customer service and build rapport.
- Handle cash transactions accurately, including processing payments through the POS system.
- Upsell drinks and menu items to maximize sales opportunities.
- Monitor guest consumption of alcohol and adhere to responsible serving guidelines.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff and other team members to ensure smooth operations during busy shifts.
- Stay informed about new drink recipes, trends in the food industry, and seasonal offerings.
- Prepare restaurant tables with special attention to sanitation and order
- Attend to customers upon entrance
- Present restaurant menus and help customers select food/beverages
- Take and serve orders
- Answer questions or make recommendations for complementary products
- Be thoroughly familiar with menu items and related materials.
- Clean and maintain all working areas and equipment.
- Complete designated side work efficiently and thoroughly.
Requirements
- Previous experience in the food industry or hospitality sector is preferred.
- Strong sales skills with an emphasis on upselling techniques.
- Proficiency in cash handling and experience with POS systems, preferably Aloha POS.
- Excellent guest relations skills, with a focus on providing outstanding guest services.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced nightclub environment while maintaining composure under pressure.
- Strong communication skills and a friendly demeanor.
- Must be of legal drinking age as per local regulations.
- Availability to work flexible hours, including nights and weekends.
- Must be able to seize, grasp, turn and hold objects with hands.
- Must be able to make periodical fast paced movements are required to go from one part of the property to others.
- Must be able to move, pull, carry or lift at least 20 pounds.
- Must be able to occasionally kneel, bend, crouch and climb is required.
- Must be able to perform physical activities such as lifting, cleaning, and stooping.
- Must be able to stand, walk, lift, and bend for long periods of time.
- Must be able to bend, stoop, lift, reach, push, twist, walk, crouch, and squat.
