Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to standard recipes and customer preferences.
- Provide excellent customer service by engaging with patrons, taking orders, and delivering drinks promptly.
- Handle cash transactions accurately, including cash handling and operating the cash register or POS system.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, including washing glassware and cleaning surfaces.
- Assist with catering events as needed, ensuring timely service and adherence to quality standards.
- Monitor inventory levels of liquor, mixers, and supplies; assist with ordering as necessary.
- Adhere to all health and safety regulations while serving beverages.
- Demonstrate effective time management skills to ensure efficient service during peak hours.
Requirements
- Previous bartending experience is preferred; experience in fine dining is a plus.
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to interact positively with guests.
- Proficiency in cash handling and basic math skills for accurate transactions.
- Familiarity with POS systems and cash registers is advantageous.
- Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- Knowledge of various drink recipes and catering services is beneficial.
- Must be at least 21 years of age as per legal requirements for serving alcohol.
