Job description
Losterwood Miami is seeking a dedicated General Maintenance professional to join our
team. This role is crucial for ensuring the operational efficiency of our production
centers by planning, coordinating, and executing maintenance programs. The ideal
candidate will be responsible for the maintenance of CNC Woodworking Machine,
preventing production stoppages, and optimizing processes to increase efficiency and
productivity.
Key Responsibilities:
- Advise operators on equipment maintenance and repair techniques.
- Coordinate with the Planning Department to implement preventive, corrective, and
predictive maintenance programs.
- Execute scheduled maintenance procedures and technical shutdowns.
- Assess and halt production processes in case of severe equipment failures, in
consultation with the Production Manager.
- Conduct periodic facility inspections to guarantee optimal operations.- Maintain and repair heavy load handling equipment such as pallet trucks, forklifts, and
lift tables.
- Organize and document equipment records, warranties, materials, and technical
service reports.
- Manage inventory of tools, parts, and materials in coordination with the warehouse.
- Ensure compliance with safety, occupational health, and cleanliness standards.
- Promote a culture of order and teamwork within the production environment.
Qualifications & Requirements:
- Education: B.S. in Engineering (Major Electromechanical).
- Experience: Minimum of 5 years in production or mechanical-related roles.
- Proficiency in analyzing electrical drawings and strategic planning.
- Basic knowledge of CNC, PLCs, electronics, and electrical commands.
- Familiarity with automatic valves and their operating principles.
- Strong interpersonal, supervisory, and teamwork skills.
- Understanding of industrial and occupational safety standards.
- Experience in preventive and corrective maintenance planning.
Working Conditions:
- Split between office and production environments.
- Exposure to ergonomic, physical, chemical, biological, and psychosocial risks.
- Requires physical exertion, including prolonged standing and precise manual tasks.
