As a Legal Clerical Support at Lotane & Associates, you will play a vital role in supporting our legal staff in the day-to-day operations of our firm.
In this position, you will be responsible for various clerical and administrative tasks, including organizing and maintaining legal documents, scheduling appointments, conducting legal research, and assisting with the preparation of legal documents. You will be working closely with attorneys and other legal professionals, ensuring the efficient flow of information and assisting in meeting various deadlines.

Responsibilities
- Manages and organizes case files and legal documents in electronic format.
- Utilizes private and public search databases to obtain
- Prepares and forwards Summons to Process Server vendor to obtain service.
- Performs data entry and maintain accurate records within the firms CMS
- Reviews files, records and other documents to obtain information to respond to requests.
- Other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED, required
- Proven experience in a clerical or administrative role, preferably within a law practice.
- Knowledge of legal terminology and procedures is a plus.
- Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
- Excellent attention to detail, accuracy, and proofreading skills.
- Proficient in using Microsoft Office Suite and other legal software applications.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
