We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Daycare Teacher to join our team. Responsibilities
- Develop and implement age-appropriate lesson plans that align with early childhood education standards.
- Create a warm and welcoming classroom atmosphere that encourages exploration and learning.
- Provide individualized attention to children, including those with disabilities or special needs, ensuring their unique requirements are met.
- Engage children in educational activities that promote their physical, emotional, and social development.
- Utilize effective behavior management techniques to maintain a positive classroom environment.
- Communicate regularly with parents regarding their child's progress and any concerns that may arise.
- Maintain a clean and organized classroom space, ensuring all materials are safe and accessible.
- Collaborate with other staff members to create an inclusive environment for all children.
Requirements
- Proven experience working with children in a daycare or educational setting is highly desirable.
- Knowledge of childhood development principles and best practices in caregiving.
- Experience working with children with disabilities or special education needs is a plus.
- Strong communication skills to effectively interact with children, parents, and colleagues.
- Ability to implement behavior management strategies effectively.
- Certification in First Aid and CPR is preferred but not required at the time of hire; willingness to obtain certification is essential.
- A genuine passion for educating young minds and fostering their growth through play-based learning activities.
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $17.00 - $17.50 per hour
Expected hours: 30 – 40 per week
