We’re seeking a dynamic and results-driven Multi-unit Director of Operations to oversee the day-to-day operations of our restaurants, as well as support the growth and strategic direction of our company.
- Operational Leadership: Oversee the daily operations of multiple restaurant locations, ensuring consistency in service, quality, and guest experience. Develop and implement operational procedures, policies, and best practices to ensure smooth and efficient operations. Analyze operational performance metrics and KPIs (Key Performance Indicators) to identify areas of improvement and drive operational efficiency. Maintain a focus on cost control, ensuring all operational expenses are managed within budgetary guidelines without compromising quality.

Staff Management: Ensure all team members are properly trained on operational procedures, customer service standards, and safety protocols. Foster a positive work culture by encouraging teamwork, open communication, and accountability at all levels.Implement employee performance reviews and create development plans for team growth and succession planning.

Financial Management: Manage the overall financial health of restaurant operations, including P&L (profit and loss) management, cost of goods sold (COGS), and labor costs. Work with the finance team to create and manage annual budgets and forecasts. Develop strategies to increase revenue while maintaining profitability through effective pricing, menu management, and operational efficiency. Monitor inventory levels, waste management, and ordering processes to minimize waste and reduce operating costs.

Strategic Planning & Business Development: Work with the executive team to develop long-term strategies for growth, including new site openings, brand expansion, and service diversification. Identify opportunities for enhancing operational efficiency through technology, process improvements, or other innovations. Monitor market trends and competitor activity to keep the company ahead of the curve.

Compliance & Safety: Ensure compliance with all local, state, and federal regulations, including health, safety, and labor laws. Oversee the implementation of health and safety protocols, including food safety, employee training, and OSHA compliance. Conduct regular audits and inspections to maintain high standards of cleanliness and safety.

Communication & Reporting: Act as a liaison between restaurant management, senior leadership, and corporate teams. Provide regular updates and reports to senior leadership on key performance metrics, operational challenges, and strategic initiatives. Communicate operational changes, promotions, and special events effectively across all locations.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Hospitality Management, or a related field (or equivalent experience).

Experience: Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in restaurant or hospitality operations, with at least 3 years in a senior leadership role.

Proven track record of managing multiple restaurant locations or hospitality services simultaneously.

Strong knowledge of financials, budgeting, cost control, and P&L management.

Experience with staffing, training, and developing a large team.

Familiarity with restaurant management software, POS systems, and inventory management tools.
