Event Specialist for Medical Cannabis Pop-Up Clinics

Job Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and enthusiastic Event Specialists to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for planning, coordinating, and executing events that help patients with medical cannabis education and the application process for local communities. The ideal candidate will possess strong communication skills, a passion for medical cannabis, event marketing, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment. Your primary goal will be to create memorable patient experiences that resonate with patients while educating about medical cannabis.

Responsibilities

• Plan and execute events from start to finish, ensuring all details deliver a WOW experience
• Engage with patients providing information about medical cannabis, Utah program application process, .and general questions
• Provide exceptional customer service to all attendees, addressing inquiries and enhancing their experience
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment on event goals and messaging
• Seek continuous improvements to better serve patients.

Requirements

• Must be 21 or older.
• Strong public speaking skills with the ability to engage diverse audiences effectively
• Comfortable with technology using mobile devices, tablets, and keyboards
• Excellent customer service skills with a focus on creating positive experiences for patients
• A passion for creating engaging experiences that resonate with patients

Bonus Skills

• Experience using event marketing strategies to promote events through various channels, including social media.
• Familiarity with social media management to promote events and engage with participants online.
• Previous technical support experience

Schedule

We conduct weekly events, and you have the flexibility to choose which ones you work. The schedule includes regular and one-off events, providing variation in available shifts. We ask that you commit to working at least one shift per month.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $16.00 - $20.00 per hour
