The General Manager will be responsible for customer retention and profitability with a key focus on the variable side, which includes : New and Used vehicle sales, Finance and Internet sales. Our ideal candidate has Automotive General Manager or High Volume General Sales Manager Experience.

  • RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Plans and implements successful dealership operations
  • Maintains CSI at or above company standards
  • Assesses the operations of all dealership departments
  • Works with department managers to improve operations, performance, and profitability
  • Supervises department managers
  • Oversees training and supervision of all dealership employees
  • Oversees hiring and discipline decisions
  • Oversees pricing and inventory
  • Maintains good working relationship with manufacturer and lending institutions
  • Reinforces company policies and adheres to company standards
  • Encourages compliance with applicable laws and regulations
  • Serves as effective dealership representative to community
  • Oversees balance sheet management
  • Maintains effective employee relations
  • Conducts weekly manager meetings
  • Promotes and maintains good ESI
  • QUALIFICATIONS

  • General Manager or General Sales Manager at High Volume Dealership Experience is required
  • Proven track record
  • Strong record of consistent positive Customer Satisfaction results
  • Team-oriented
  • Submit to and successfully complete MVR, background check, and pre-employment drug test
  • Valid driver's license with good driving record
