Responsibilities

As an Apprentice Collision Technician, you will support the Collision Center team while gaining hands-on experience in vehicle repair and refinishing. Your responsibilities will include:

• Assisting senior technicians with repairing and restoring vehicles to pre-accident condition.
• Learning to assess collision damage and follow repair plans under supervision.
• Performing basic tasks such as removing damaged parts, sanding, masking, and priming surfaces.
• Preparing vehicles for painting and assisting in refinishing processes.
• Ensuring the proper use and maintenance of tools, equipment, and safety gear.
• Keeping the work area clean and organized to maintain a safe and efficient environment.
• Shadowing experienced technicians to gain practical knowledge of collision repair techniques and industry standards.

Qualifications

We are looking for enthusiastic candidates with a passion for automotive repair and a willingness to learn. Ideal qualifications include:

• Education: High school diploma or equivalent (automotive trade school or related training is a plus).
• Experience: No prior collision repair experience required; basic mechanical skills or previous automotive work preferred.
• Skills:
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality work.
  • Good problem-solving and organizational skills.
  • Ability to follow directions and work well as part of a team.
  • Willingness to learn

• Physical Requirements:
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and perform physical tasks such as bending, standing, and reaching for extended periods.
• Other: Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
