Responsibilities
As an Apprentice Collision Technician, you will support the Collision Center team while gaining hands-on experience in vehicle repair and refinishing. Your responsibilities will include:
- Assisting senior technicians with repairing and restoring vehicles to pre-accident condition.
- Learning to assess collision damage and follow repair plans under supervision.
- Performing basic tasks such as removing damaged parts, sanding, masking, and priming surfaces.
- Preparing vehicles for painting and assisting in refinishing processes.
- Ensuring the proper use and maintenance of tools, equipment, and safety gear.
- Keeping the work area clean and organized to maintain a safe and efficient environment.
- Shadowing experienced technicians to gain practical knowledge of collision repair techniques and industry standards.
Qualifications
We are looking for enthusiastic candidates with a passion for automotive repair and a willingness to learn. Ideal qualifications include:
- Education: High school diploma or equivalent (automotive trade school or related training is a plus).
- Experience: No prior collision repair experience required; basic mechanical skills or previous automotive work preferred.
- Skills:
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality work.
- Good problem-solving and organizational skills.
- Ability to follow directions and work well as part of a team.
- Willingness to learn
- Great comprehension of verbal and written instructions

- Physical Requirements:
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and perform physical tasks such as bending, standing, and reaching for extended periods.
