Position Overview:

We are in search of an imaginative, motivated, and seasoned Social Media Specialist with a passion for the journey of motherhood, from pregnancy to the joys and challenges of raising children. This role is perfect for someone who excels in storytelling, is adept in creating and editing emotive video content, and is eager to connect with our community across various social media platforms. You will be instrumental in defining our brand’s online voice and presence, driving engagement, and contributing to our overarching growth.

Key Responsibilities:

• Content Planning: Collaborate with our marketing team to curate and schedule a unified content calendar across all platforms, focusing on pregnancy, motherhood, and early childhood. Your work will ensure brand coherence and support our marketing objectives.
• Content Creation and Editing: Craft and refine high-quality video and image content that speaks to the hearts of our audience, upholding our brand’s ethos and encouraging interaction. Your content will celebrate the beauty and authenticity of motherhood, parenting, and the little moments that matter.
• Social Media Management: Publish content to various channels such as Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, and Youtube. Actively monitor and engage with comments and messages to nurture our community.
• Analytics and Reporting: Evaluate and report on social media performance metrics. Leverage these insights to guide content strategies, enhancing both engagement and audience growth.
• Trend Monitoring: Keep abreast of the latest social media trends, especially those relevant to parents and families. Experiment with new content types and strategies to ensure our brand remains a leading voice in the parenting space.

Required Skills and Experience:

• 1-3 years of experience in video content creation and editing, with a focus on creating content for platforms like TikTok and Instagram Reels, ideally within the parenting, pregnancy, and baby care niches.
• A compelling portfolio that showcases a broad spectrum of creative projects, with a strong emphasis on social media and web content that resonates with parents and families.
• Proficiency in video editing software and a track record of producing and editing multiple pieces of content weekly across various social media platforms.
• An understanding of current social media trends and best practices, with the ability to tap into the parenting community’s heart and soul through powerful storytelling and creative content.

• You live in or near Utah County and are willing to work in our Orem office, as well as some nights and weekends to post content.
• You have a passion for creating visually appealing and engaging video content.
• You are adaptable and able to work in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $18.00 - $22.00 per hour
