Private Music Instructor
Loud & Clear Music School is currently seeking private music teachers for both their 1:1 lessons and group classes. If hired, you can teach at either or both of our two locations based on what is easiest or best for you. Our first location is located in Downtown Cuyahoga Falls, and our second location is located in the Green/Coventry area.
We are currently seeking teachers for the following instruments:
- Voice
Our schools have grown considerably over the past few years, and all of our current teachers currently have close to completely-filled availability. For some instruments, we currently have a waiting list of students. Depending on the instrument you teach and your availability, you could potentially start off with a good handful of students upon hiring.
About Us/Why Teach With Us?

- All teachers are hired as W2 employees, not as 1099 subcontractors. This saves you on taxes, allows for a better team atmosphere, and other advantages.

- Our teaching is based on creating an individual curriculum for each student. You get to choose how you teach as long as it fits within our general teaching philosophy.
- A degree in music or music education is not necessarily required to teach with us.
- Training is available for newbie teachers. We're a great fit for those who want to get started as a teacher.
- As employees, you will have access to various technology and software provided by us that will make teaching better and easier for you. We also have tools to help communicate with other teachers for sharing resources, lesson planning, etc.
- We create school-wide incentive programs, making the retention of your students higher.
- We have multiple people on our administration team so that you can focus purely on teaching, rather than scheduling, collecting payments etc.
- All marketing and student acquisition is handled by us for you.
- Our policy makes sure you are still paid for lessons missed by students, as well as holidays.
Who Are We Looking For?
- Teachers who can adjust their teaching style/curriculum based on the needs and wants of particular students.
- Teachers who are reliable. We do no accept tardiness as this reflects poorly on our school. We understand having to call off for gigs etc., but just ask that we have sufficient notice and that you are able to then try to provide make-up lessons if a sub isn't available. If there are days/nights that you know you often get called to gigs, we ask you don't provide that in your availability.
- Teachers who can commit to at least 3 nights of teaching with us per week.
- Teachers who are willing and able to use the technology we provide which adds value to our school, customers, and students.
- Teachers whose submitted availability is generally between 3:30-7:30 M-F, or Saturdays 9am-2. Again, you can submit the availability of your choosing, but since the vast majority of students want lessons during these times, it's easiest to get you students within these time frames.
- Teachers who are comfortable teaching the ages of 8-14. We teach all ages (our youngest is 4 and our oldest is 91!), but the majority of our students tend to fall into this age range.
- Teachers who can communicate lesson recaps and practice expectations to parents after the lesson.
- Teachers who are willing to complete a background check.
