Job Description
We are seeking qualified applicants for a full-time CASA Program and Sports Facility Assistant. Under the general direction of the designated supervisor, this position provides after-school and camp childcare at locations throughout the County. This position assists in supervising indoor and outdoor sports activities and assists with office and supply work, field trips, and summer events. The ideal candidate would be flexible, have good communication skills, and be a self-starter. PRCS serves a diverse population including but not limited to youth, adults, individuals with disabilities, and seniors.

- PRCS, 742 Miller Drive, Leesburg, VA
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Supervises children, ensuring their health and safety.
- Communicate with participants, parents, and other staff.
- Plans and leads engaging children's activities.
- Oversees set up of facilities and provides customer service.
Work hours vary to include nights and weekends

Salary commensurate with experience
Job Requirements
High school diploma or equivalent and six months of program experience with children, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Complete education and experience requirements to meet Virginia licensing requirements for the position.
Special Requirements
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- Knowledge of school-aged childcare and programming.
- Skills in instructing a diverse youth population.
- Skills in using computers, Department software, and other automated equipment.
- Ability to build and maintain working relationships.
Post Conditional Offer Contingencies
- Pass pre-employment fingerprinting, DMV, and Child Protective Services (CPS) background checks.
- Valid driver's license and good driving record required.
- First Aid (infant through adult)/CPR certifications prior to or immediately upon hire.
- Pass TB test within 30 days of hire.
- OSHA training within 30 days of hire and MAT training within 90 days of hire.
Salary : $40,267 - $66,441
