Job Summary
We are in search of qualified applicants for a full-time (30 hours per week) Child Care Assistant role. This position will involve providing childcare and support within the County's childcare program at the Lovettsville Community Center. The successful candidate will need to exhibit strong time management skills, maintain effective communication with children, parents, and staff, and demonstrate proficient problem-solving capabilities.
We are currently hiring for the following location(s) :
- Lovettsville Community Center, Lovettsville, VA
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to :
Minimum Qualifications
High School diploma or equivalent and six months of program experience with children.

Job Contingencies and Special Requirements
Must undergo pre-employment fingerprinting and CPS background checks. Pass TB test within 30 days of hire and each year thereafter. First Aid / CPR certifications before hire or immediately upon hire. Take OSHA Bloodborne Pathogens and Daily Health Check training within 30 days of hire. MAT training within 90 days of hire. An annual submission of a sworn disclosure statement or affirmation is mandatory, which must include any criminal convictions or pending criminal charges.
