Candidate Qualifications
Job Summary:
The Clubhouse Manager is a strategic business leader responsible for supervising all food and beverage staff, both front and back of the house, at the Club. They will maintain a high standard of excellence while promoting a Member-First Culture.
Day-to-Day:
- Works with management team to develop and implement Member activities and events
- Works with management team toward achieving sales plans, goals, and objectives, following all guidelines, policies, and procedures
- Participates in preparing an annual financial budget and achieves these goals throughout the year through proper forecasting, cost controls, labor management, and revenue-generating programs.
- Maintains a safe, secure, and healthy environment by establishing, following, and enforcing sanitation standards and procedures while complying with legal regulations
- Trains and monitors employees while evaluating their performance and productivity
- Recruits, selects and develops talent while maintaining a positive and inclusive work environment
- Builds and maintains positive Member & guest experiences
Qualifications:
- Bachelors Degree in Business Administration, Commerce, Hospitality or equivalent degrees OR industry relevant experience of 5 years considered
- Private club experience highly preferred
- Knowledge of F&B business and management principles and practices
- Knowledge of financial and F&B accounting principles and practices
- Knowledge of human resources principles and practices
- Microsoft applications – Outlook, Excel and Word
- Ability to work and understand Jonas POS system
Certificate, Licenses, Registrations:
- Valid Driver’s License and clean driving record
- State of Virginia Food Handling
- Ability to be on the Virginia ABC License for on/off premises
Other Skill, Abilities and Qualifications:
- Complete fluency in English – both written and verbal
- Ability to pass background check
