Job Overview:
We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Office Secretary to join our team. The ideal candidate will provide administrative support for the church's daily operations, while reflecting a caring, Christian attitude in all situations.
Duties:
- Provide administrative support to the pastor, church staff and congregation.
- Prepare monthly financial reports for the pastor and the church's advisory board
- Post member's contributions to the financial records and update the individual contribution records
- Utilize church financial software to assist with bookkeeping tasks.
- Prepare semi-monthly payroll for the church's staff and meet all payroll-related filing requirements with government agencies.
- Enter supplier invoices in the financial system; prepare checks; and mail to suppliers. -Maintain the church's financial software and install any system updates required. -Assist the pastor and church staff with their individual missions.
Qualifications:
- Excellent verbal and written skills.
-Ability to maintain confidentiality and sensitive information.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to multi-task.
- 3-5 years administrative support experience
- Proficiency in MS Office
- Ability to use church financial software
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $16.00 - $18.00 per hour
