About The Role
Business Administration Unit is comprised of the Office of Civil Rights, Office of HBCU Outreach, Purchasing Division, Facilities Management Division and Physical Security.
What Will You Do
- Assists with the planning and organizing the direction of activities and implementation of new or improved projects, assigned to the Business Administration Unit.
- Participates in the preparation of detailed reports, summaries and recommendations based on the analysis of research data
- Assists in the development of procedures to improve existing programs and services
- Prepares and maintains records and reports of assigned activities
- Coordinates with stakeholders, staff and community interest groups on policies and programs.
- Ability to communicate clearly and concisely, both orally and in writing
- Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with public officials, peers, representatives of other community interest groups and the general public in order to gain their cooperation and support of programs.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
Minimum Education And Experience Requirements
- Must possess bachelor’s degree from, or be currently enrolled in masters, or professional level program (e.g., Law School) at an accredited North Carolina Historically Black College/University (HBCU) or Minority Serving Institution (MSI) earned between 2022 – 2025 Or be a current graduate or law school student.
- Must provide proof of College or University attendance/graduation by attaching a transcript (official or unofficial)
