Duties and Responsibilities :
- Deliver competency-based instruction in manufacturing, industrial technology, safety protocols, equipment operation, and process technologies.
- Utilize hands-on learning, real-world applications, and simulation-based instruction to enhance student engagement.
- Provide a wide range of instruction in : OSHA safety, blueprint reading, precision measurement, manufacturing materials and processes, basic electrical circuits, maintenance of equipment, quality control, and lean manufacturing principles.
- Instruct students on the use of tools, machinery, and equipment common in modern manufacturing settings.
- Assess student learning outcomes and adjust teaching strategies to support student success.
- Work closely with local manufacturers, workforce agencies, and economic development organizations to align training with employer needs.
- Collaborate with employers to facilitate internships, apprenticeships, and job placements.
- Stay updated on industry advancements and integrate them into course content.
- Ensure compliance with state and federal workforce training standards.
- Maintain student records and report outcomes to funding agencies and workforce partners.
- Travel to industry sites, partner locations, correctional facilities, and other off-campus training facilities may be required.
