Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree required; master's degree preferred
- Knowledgeable of student and community needs
- Education background a plus
- The Campus Manager position is responsible for direct coordination with faculty, staff, students, Deans, and Department Heads
- This position will provide advising/counseling in academic disciplines offered at university as well as provide oversight and administrative functions for daily operations of campus site following policy and procedures set forth by NSU
- Counsel with students regarding an academic plan and career opportunities through education
- Provide information on degree and course selection, financial aid availability, and reviewing students' previous education
- Acts as the student point of contact specific to the Cenla Campus
- Provides support during all registration periods and coordinates necessary reporting and schedule of classes
- Coordinate and oversee Cenla Campus Council for instructional site
- Participates/coordinates with faculty and staff to maintain presence and working relationship within the community
- To continue improving proficiency through working with the core and curricula, financial aid, and course offerings while ordinating with department heads and deans to meet the needs of students
- To make the transition for each student as smooth as possible through counseling/advising, informal evaluations of prior college experience and application, financial aid, and administrative assistance
- To display an outgoing, positive attitude toward students, faculty and staff through a consistent willingness to counsel, assist, and otherwise show that the "students come first"
