Required Education: Master's degree in Engineering, Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a closely related field. PhD in the field discipline preferred
Experience Requirement
Instructor duties to include, but not limited to instruction of students. Contributions to the continued development of the curriculum. Participation in professional growth and community service. Maintenance of conference and academic advising hours. Participation in committees as assigned.

Experience Requirement
- Prior teaching experience in engineering coursework at the undergraduate level is highly desirable.
- Experience in curriculum development and laboratory management is a plus.
- Comprehensive knowledge of engineering mathematics and calculus.
- General engineering principles, statics and equilibrium analysis.
- Stress-strain relationships and mechanical properties.
- Analysis and design of mechanical members.
- Pressure vessels and Mohr’s circle.
- Deflection in beams, basic circuit analysis, network theorems and simplification.
- Phasors and AC circuit solutions.
- Power and electronic applications.
- Laws of thermodynamics, thermal properties and heat transfer.
- Mechanical vibrations and dynamics.
- Material science and selection.
- Computational and numerical methods.
- Computer-aided design (CAD) and drafting.
- Instrumentation and measurement techniques.
- Multidisciplinary team collaboration and communication.
- Engineering licensure and career pathways.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with a commitment to student success and collaborative work with colleagues across all departments and Divisions.
- Ability to work flexible hours and autonomously.
- Proficiency with educational technology, including online learning platforms, is essential.
- Ability to be an active part of instructional and non-instructional activities.
