The Louisiana National Guard Youth Challenge Program Recruiting Department is looking for a dependable and outgoing individual, who succeeds in a team environment, to fill our Recruiter position. This position allows you to travel, meet, and network with stakeholders in our state. This is a great opportunity to take part in helping at-risk youth in our state achieve their goals and complete their education. Salary Range:
- $37,003 - $44,403
Working Hours:
- Monday – Friday
- 8:00 am – 4:30 pm
Required Education:
- Two year Associates degree required
Preferred:
- Four year Bachelor’s degree preferred
- Direct applicable experience
Some duties include but not limited to the following:
- Public Speaking required – scripted dialog and presentation scripts
- Wide-range of daily travel to assigned parishes within the state meeting with stakeholders
- Communicate with Stakeholders, Families, and Students regarding the Youth Challenge Program
- Attend various events within your assigned parishes to include community events and conferences
- Work cooperatively with the LANGYCP Public Relations department to meet our marketing needs
