Job Description :
Pennington Biomedical Research Center, a world-renowned academic research institute of Louisiana State University, is seeking an Medical Technologist / Medical Laboratory Technician in the Clinical Chemistry Laboratory.
The primary responsibilities of the Medical Technologist include automated immunochemistry and general chemistry in a CAP and CLIA accredited laboratory.
Required Qualifications for Medical Technologist
- Education : Bachelor's degree in clinical laboratory science (CLS), medical technology (MT), chemical, physical or biological science, or a related field.
- Experience : Minimum of two (2) years of experience in a clinical, research, or analytical laboratory.
- Certification : Current Louisiana license as a Clinical Laboratory Scientist-Generalist or Clinical Laboratory Scientist-Specialist.
- Knowledge : CAP, CLIA, HIPAA, and OSHA compliance requirements.
