**Job Summary:**
We are seeking a highly experienced and skilled Building Superintendent to oversee all aspects of maintenance personnel at Louisiana Tech University. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of five years experience in building maintenance/construction, with at least three years at the experienced level.
The successful candidate will possess excellent communication and leadership qualities, as well as the ability to manage skilled trade employees in areas such as air conditioning, heating and ventilation, carpentry, painting, plumbing, electrical maintenance, temperature controls, preventive maintenance or general project labor.
The Building Superintendent will report to the Director of Physical Plant and be responsible for liaison with state and regulatory agencies, independent contractors and suppliers. Additionally, this position will assist with budget planning, development of specifications and solicitation of prices from suppliers and service providers.
