What are the responsibilities and job description for the Game Day Media Relations Associate position at Louisville Bats?
POSITION : Game Day Media Relations Associate
FLSA Status : Class Credit Internship / Hourly Pay
Start Date : March 28 (flexible based on availability)
POSITION SUMMARY : The media relations associate will work directly with the Public Relations Manager, Aaron Cheris, and the Director of Broadcasting, Nick Curran.
ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Write game stories as assigned for both home and road games, program articles, website features, etc.
- Prepare press area on game day
- Cut / caption game video highlights and upload to league site for league media
- Tag / label photos for team photo archive
- Operate DakStats Baseball computer program for in-game scoreboard and live stats
- Other duties as assigned
