Position Overview:
The Facility Maintenance Technician will be responsible for performing a variety of maintenance and repair tasks within the club’s facilities. This position requires attention to detail, problem-solving abilities, and excellent customer service skills to ensure satisfaction of our members. The role also involves working in a fast-paced environment and adapting to a range of maintenance-related needs.
Key Responsibilities:
Perform general maintenance and repairs of facilities, including HVAC systems, plumbing, electrical, lighting, and general infrastructure.
Troubleshoot and address any maintenance issues, including minor repairs and replacements of equipment, appliances, and furniture.
Maintain cleanliness and safety of common areas, including restrooms, hallways, and lounges.
Conduct regular inspections of the facility to identify areas requiring maintenance or repair.
Assist with preventative maintenance tasks such as servicing HVAC filters, checking safety systems, and cleaning exterior areas.
Respond promptly to maintenance requests from staff or members, ensuring minimal disruption to daily operations.
Ensure that all tools and equipment are maintained in good working conditions.
Maintain an organized inventory of supplies and tools.
Support special projects as needed, including event setups and seasonal preparations (i.e., landscaping or holiday decorations).
Qualifications:
Proven experience as a maintenance technician, janitor, or in a similar role, preferably within a hospitality or country club setting.
Solid knowledge of general maintenance processes and equipment.
Ability to troubleshoot, repair, and maintain electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and general mechanical systems.
Good physical condition and strength; able to lift to [XX] pounds and perform physical tasks.
Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to think on your feet.
Strong communication skills and the ability to interact effectively with staff and members.
