Job Summary and Job Duties:
This position is responsible for answering phones and directing calls. This position provides a variety of patient and customer service-related activities within the call center. Good organization skills and possess the ability to handle information in a confidential manner. This person will have a good personality with the ability to establish good working relationships with varying personalities (patients, co-workers, physicians and hospitals) This position requires the ability to perform office work directly related to general business operations, must exercise discretion and independent judgment.
The duties include but are not limited to:
- Maintain patient medical records
- Respond to patient inquiries via telephone and/or patient portal
- Schedule patient appointments, knowing all schedules and locations
- Provide education to patients pertaining to their need
- Ability to work independently and to carry out assignment to completion while maintaining a positive attitude
- Ensures all services are provided in a professional and safe manner
- Good communication with entire team, team lead and manager
- Perform other job duties assigned by manager
